I have always had a passion for art, after leaving school at 16 I went on to college to study Art and Design. My first job was as a Graphic Designer in a studio in Torquay.
In 1995 I was introduced to a tattooist from the North of England who taught me the basics and knowledge to set myself up in my future career. I then practiced at home for a couple years before taking the steps to open my own studio, New Tribe.
I have also won an award for tattooing. Today I specialise in Large custom pieces mainly New Skool - Bold & Bright also Black & Grey. However I do cater for many other styles and smaller pieces. You may bring in your own designs, use the flash we have available, or you can discuss your ideas with me and we can come up with something unique.

After studying Art and Design at college, I started getting tattooed at 18 and my interest in becoming a tattoo artist began then.
After being in a band for a few years, in April 1996 I began a short apprenticeship in London and then started to work from home. With help and encouragement from my own tattoo artist I developed the skill and confidence to open my first shop in 1998 in Glastonbury. I went on to have a shop in Weston Super Mare and then worked in Spain, Wales and Bath, before settling in Torbay.
I am passionate about my art and specialise in freehand custom work, oriental and cover ups. I also enjoy doing black and grey, portraits and I am happy for customers to discuss with me their own designs and work with them. I am an award-winning artist and have had my work in various magazines over the years.
